Definite Solutions: Download (RAR/FAR)

Definite Solutions is the Swedish registration site for the WinRAR/RAR archiver by
Eugene Roshal.

You need RAR to decompress archives with the .RAR extension.

Licenses are required on a "per platform" basis for RAR. The DOS license works also for Windows 3.x, Windows 9x, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Linux.
To install a UN*X version of RAR, you need to chmod 755 the downloaded SFX file and then run it as a program to unpack its contents.

FAR, by Eugene Roshal, is a file area manager for Windows 95/98/NT/2000, similiar to the program Norton Commander.

FAR support plugin modules, which makes it easy to extend the capabilities of FAR.
